FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

The Auto Latch should be fitted on the opposite side of the door to the hinges. Put the Auto Latch on the bottom or on the shelf to which it is to be fixed, protruding over the front, then close door to push the Auto Latch in place.

Open the door and holding Auto Latch firmly in position with one hand outline elongated holes with a sharp pencil. With a bradawl, mark screw holes at rear of elongated outlines, then screw down Auto Latch, positioning elongated holes centrally on the screws. Slip the pronged positioner into the top gap of Auto Latch with the prong extending above and in front of the Auto Latch, close door to allow point of prong to mark position for striker, then open door and remove positioner. Mark a screw hole where prong has marked door.

Fit striker with hook downwards and screw in centre of elongated hole. If Auto Latch does not operate, adjust by moving backwards or forwards or moving striker up or down on elongated holes. When adjustment has been finalized, screw and pin firmly into position.
