Most fence panels and posts are treated at the factory to prevent rot and insect attack. However, if you are concreting your posts into the ground, it pays to soak their cut ends in an all-purpose preservative. Leave the posts standing overnight in a deep container filled with the preservative.
Keep your fence in good condition by regularly treating panels and posts with preservative.
